Residential Plow Policy
Fine Landscaping begins to plow when the local DPW begins plowing all the streets. Upon request, our trucks are available to plow your driveway in minor storms when the snowfall is less than 3 inches.
Accumulation amounts are determined in the following manner: We use the National Weather Service recorded measurements.
- There will be a single charge for any snowfall accumulation between one (1) and six (6) inches.
- There will be a double charge for any snowfall accumulation between seven (7) and twelve (12) inches.
- There will be a triple charge for any snowfall accumulation between thirteen (13) inches and eighteen (18) inches. The price goes up in six (6) inch increments from there.
- There will be a double charge for a storm that exceeds a twenty-four (24) hour period but has an accumulation of less than seven (7) inches.
Current Customer Information
If you were on our plowing list from last year, we will continue to provide the same service. Please note that prior to plowing season, markers will be placed along the edges of your driveway. If you have markers from previous years please leave them outside so that we may install them.
If you would like to cancel your service with us, you must notify us before the first plowable snowstorm.
Billing
All plowing invoices are due within 2 weeks of receipt unless other arrangements have previously been made. If you are late on a payment, you will be removed from our plowing route.
Additional Information
Fine Landscaping will not be held responsible for damage to any landscape lighting, irrigation heads, asphalt or plants.
Marker Placement
Prior to the plowing season, markers will be placed along the edges of your driveway. If you have markers from previous years please leave them outside so that we may install them.
